Why Ban exists
When I started, gear was expensive and the schools didn't offer professional structure. Ban was born to be the opposite of that: the place I never had, open to anyone who wants to begin.
Everything at one address
Our dream was always to become an electronic music center. We started as a DJ school, then a broadcasting course, then a production course. We built the store. We built the practice studios for DJs. Ten years later, the dream came true: in the same space, eight studios, a store, a museum, a dancefloor, audiovisual production, a widely watched YouTube channel, panels and workshops. And today we also have spaces for content recording, video sets, podcasts and much more. A real electronic music center.

Ban Schiavon · Founder of Ban
Who stands behind this
I'm Ban, a nickname that grew bigger than my birth name, William. I started DJ'ing at 15, went professional in 1992 and spent more than a decade at Metropolitana FM. There, besides hosting and directing shows, I helped Brazilian DJs get their music released. I played at the Warrior discotheque and at Sound Factory, dancefloors that left their mark on São Paulo.
In 2001 I opened Ban to be the school I never had. Ever since, I've never stopped evolving. Everything I learned in the booth, on the radio and in the studio kept turning into this place, with a single goal: to be the reference for anyone who takes music seriously.
2001 → 2026
Twenty-five years of history, of classes, of the booth and the studio. Hit play and see Ban from the inside.

Bateras Beat Bela Vista

At the same address, Bateras Beat Bela Vista offers drum, keyboard, acoustic guitar, electric guitar and bass lessons for all ages. Because music doesn't have a single path, and Ban always knew that.
Everything you read here really exists, at the same address, five minutes from the Brigadeiro subway station. No strings attached. Just come.
3D tour recorded at an earlier time · some corners have changed since then, but the energy is the same.
